Occupational Therapists working at the Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Centre collaborated with Respiratory Therapists to develop a framework and practice guidelines to facilitate mounting a ventilator to a power or manual wheelchair. The goal of this framework is to improve the safety and functional outcomes for clients.
